This e-mail application isdifferent from the SMS e-mailfunction. To use the e-mail functionon your phone, you need acompatible e-mail system.You can write, send, and read e-mailwith your phone. Your phonesupports POP3 and IMAP4 e-mailservers.Before you can send and retrieve anye-mail messages, you must obtain anew e-mail account or use yourcurrent account. To check theavailability of your e-mail account,contact your e-mail service provider.Check your e-mail settings with youre-mail service provider. You mayreceive the e-mail configurationsettings as a configuration message.See ”Configuration settings service”p. xii.To activate the e-mail settings,select Menu > Messaging >Message settings > e-mailmessages. See ”E-mail messages”p. 26.This application does not supportkeypad tones.Setting wizardThe setting wizard will startautomatically if no e-mail settingsare defined in the phone.
