SettingsIn Settings, you can change, for example, how theapplication connects to the internet or what transportmode is used.Internet settingsSelect Options > Tools > Settings > Internet.To select whether to allow Maps to open an internetconnection when you start the application, select Goonline at start-up.To select the access point to be used when connectingto the internet, select Default access point.To select whether to be notified when your deviceregisters to a network other than your home network,select Roaming warning.Navigation settingsSelect Options > Tools > Settings > Navigation.To select the language of the voice guidance, selectVoice guidance. You may need to download the voicefiles before you can select the language.To define the backlight setting, select Backlight.To select how often the information about trafficevents is updated, select Traffic info update.To set the device to plan a new route to avoid trafficevents, select Reroute due to traffic.Route settingsSelect Options > Tools > Settings > Route.To select the mode of transportation, select Transportmode > Walk or Drive. If you select Walk, one-waystreets are regarded as normal streets and walkwayscan be used.To calculate the fastest route, select Routeselection > Faster route.
