Adjust the map viewYou can adjust the map view in several ways to suityour location or usage. Here are only a few examples.See "Settings", p. 18.System of measurementTo define the measurement system used in the maps,select Options > Tools > Settings > Map >System of measurement > Metric or Imperial.Points of interestTo define what kinds of points of interest are shownon the map, select Options > Tools > Settings >Map > Categories and the desired categories.Day or night viewTo adjust the map for car navigation during daytimeor night-time, select Options > Tools > Settings >Map > Colours > Day mode or Night mode.Change map typeTo change the map type,select Options > Mapview > Map, 3D, Satellite,or Hybrid. The satellite andhybrid maps are available forbrowsing maps andpedestrian navigation, andthey cannot be downloadedwith Nokia Map Loader.Satellite data is not availablefor all regions.Display indicatorsThe GPS indicator on the bottom rightcorner of the display shows the availability andstrength of the satellite signal. One bar is one satellite.When the device tries to find a satellite, the bar isyellow. When the device receives enough data fromthe satellite to establish a GPS connection, the barturns green. The more green bars, the stronger the GPSconnection.Initially, your device must receive signals from at leastfour satellites to calculate the coordinates of yourlocation.
