The preset code is 12345. Change the code, and keep the new codesecret and in a safe place separate from your phone. To change the code, and toset the phone to request the code, see "Security settings," p. 36.If you enter an incorrect security code five times in succession, the phone ignoresfurther entries of the code. Wait for 5 minutes and enter the code again.PIN codes• The PIN (personal identification number) code, supplied with your SIM card,helps to protect your SIM card against unauthorized use. They have 4 to 8 digits.See "Security settings," p. 36.• The PIN2 code may be supplied with the SIM card and is required to accesssome functions, such as call counters.• The module PIN is required to access the information in the security moduleof your SIM card. See "Security module," p. 46.• The signing PIN is required when using the digital signature. See "Digitalsignature," p. 48.PUK codesThe PUK (personal unblocking key) code is required to change a blocked PIN code.The PUK2 code is required to change a blocked PIN2 code. They have 8 digits.Restriction passwordThe restriction password is required when using the Call restriction service. See"Security settings," p. 36.
