When the message is ready to send, select Options > Play to checkthe message before sending, Replace sound clip to repeat therecording, Save message (to Saved items), Save sound clip to save therecording in Gallery, Edit subject to insert a subject to the message,Message details to view the message details, or Loudspeaker orHandset.3. To send the message, select Send > Recently used, To phone number,To e-mail address, or To many. Depending on your operator, moreoptions may be available.4. Select the contact from the list, enter the recipient’s phone numberor e-mail address, or search for it in Contacts. Select OK, and themessage is moved to the Outbox folder for sending.Receive an audio messageWhen your phone is receiving an audio message, 1 audio messagereceived is shown. Select Show to open the message, or select Show >Play if there is more than one message received. Select Options to seethe available options. To listen to the message later, select Exit.To save the message, select Options > Save sound clip and the folder inwhich you want to save the message.■ Instant messaging (IM)Instant messaging (network service) is a way to send short, simple textmessages to online users.Before you can use instant messaging, you must subscribe to theservice. To check the availability and costs, and to subscribe to theservice, contact your network operator or service provider, from whomyou also receive your unique ID, password, and settings.To set the required settings for the instant messaging service, seeConnect. settings in “Access the IM menu,” p. 33. The icons and texts onthe display may vary, depending on the instant messaging service.
