14Offline profileThe Offline profile lets you use the phone without connecting it to a network, asindicated by in the signal strength indicator area. All wireless RF signals to orfrom your phone are prevented, and you can use your device without a SIM orUSIM card. Use the offline profile in radio sensitive environments — on boardaircraft or in hospitals. You can listen to music using the music player when theoffline profile is active.To leave the Offline profile, press the power key, and select another profile.Important: In the offline profile you cannot make or receive any calls, or use otherfeatures that require cellular network coverage. Calls may still be possible to theofficial emergency number programmed into your device. To make calls, you mustfirst activate the phone function by changing profiles.
