29Multimedia messaging settingsSelect Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Multimedia message and fromthe following options:Image size — to define the size of the image in a multimedia message as Small(max. 160 x 120 pixels) or Large (max. 640 x 480 pixels). If you select Original, theimage is not scaled.MMS creation mode — To set the phone to inform you if you try to send a messagethat may not be supported by the recipient, select Guided. To set the phone toprevent you from sending messages that are not supported, select Restricted. Ifyou select Free, message creation is not restricted, but the recipient may not beable to view your message.Access point in use — Select which access point is used as the preferredconnection for multimedia messaging.Multimedia retrieval — To receive multimedia messages only when you are in yourhome network, select Auto in home netw.. To always receive multimedia messages,select Always automatic. To retrieve messages manually, select Manual. To notreceive any multimedia messages or advertisements, select Off.Allow anon. msgs. > No — to reject messages coming from an anonymous senderReceive adverts — to indicate whether you want to allow reception of multimediamessage advertisementsReceive report > Yes — to show the status of the sent message (Pending, Failed, orDelivered) in ReportsDeny report sending > Yes — to deny sending delivery reportsMessage validity (network service) — If the recipient of a message cannot bereached within the validity period, the message is removed from the multimediamessage center. Maximum time is the maximum amount of time allowed by thenetwork for which the message remains valid.E-mail settingsBefore you use e-mail, you must configure an internet access point (IAP) anddefine your e-mail settings correctly. Follow the instructions given by your e-mailservice provider and internet service provider.Select Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes and amailbox. If no mailbox settings have been defined, you are asked if you want todefine the settings.
