Check with the manufacturersof other devices to determine theircompatibility with this device.There may be restrictions on usingBluetooth technology in somelocations. Check with your localauthorities or service provider.Features that use Bluetoothtechnology, or allow such features torun in the background while usingother features, increase the demand onbattery power and reduce the batterylife.Bluetooth technology allows you toconnect the phone to a compatibleBluetooth device within 10 meters(33 feet). Since devices usingBluetooth technology communicateusing radio waves, your phone and theother devices do not need to be indirect line of sight, although theconnection can be subject tointerference from obstructions, such aswalls or from other electronic devices.To set up a Bluetooth connection,do the following:1. Select Menu > Settings >Connectivity > Bluetooth.2. To activate or deactivate theBluetooth function, selectBluetooth > On or Off.indicates an active Bluetoothconnection.3. To search for compatible Bluetoothaudio devices, select Search foraudio enhancements. Select thedevice that you want to connect tothe phone.To search for any Bluetooth devicein range, select Paired devices.Select New to list any Bluetoothdevice in range. Scroll to a device,and select Pair.4. Enter the Bluetooth passcode ofthe device to associate (pair) thedevice to your phone. You mustonly give this passcode when youconnect to the device for the firsttime. Your phone connects to thedevice, and you can start datatransfer.
