After the call, the lockautomatically reactivates.Important: When the phone is locked, calls may be possible toemergency numbers (for example, 911). Key in the emergencynumber and press h. The number appears in the display after youhave keyed in the last digit.To lock the keypad, press Menu s at the Start screen.Unlock the keypadAt the Start screen, press Unlock s.• SECURITY LEVELSThe security level determines your access to features when a “nonowner”SIM card is used. A nonowner SIM card is one (other than the original) thatis inserted after you power off the phone. There are three security levels:Set your security level1 At the Start screen, press Menu 4-8-5 (Settings > Security settings >Security level). After a brief pause, you are prompted to enter thesecurity code. The default code is 12345.Off Owner and nonowner cards are treated the same.Memory Nonowner cards can access SIM memory. Any changes tothe memory setting requires the security code.The owner card has access to all features, but the securitycode is required to change a memory setting.Phone The security code is required upon power-up.
