If you haveset the settings both on your PCand on your phone, the PC settingsare used.Data transferSynchronize your calendar,contacts data, and notes withanother compatible device (forexample, a mobile phone), acompatible PC, or a remoteInternet server (network service).Partner listTo copy or synchronize data fromyour phone, the name of thedevice and the settings must be inthe list of partners in transfercontacts. If you receive data fromanother device (for example, acompatible mobile phone), thepartner is automatically added tothe list, using the contact datafrom the other device. Serversynchronisation and PCsynchronisation are the originalitems in the list.To add a new partner to the list(for example, a new device), selectMenu > Settings >Connectivity > Data transfer >Options > Add transfer contact >Phone synchronisation or Phonecopy, and enter the settingsaccording to the transfer type.To edit the copy and synchronizesettings, select a contact from thepartner list and Options > Edit.To delete a partner, select acontact from the partner list andOptions > Delete, and confirmDelete transfer contact?. Youcannot delete Serversynchronisation or PCsynchronisation.Data transfer with acompatible deviceFor synchronization, Bluetoothwireless technology or infrared isused. The other device is in thestandby mode.To start data transfer, selectMenu > Settings >Connectivity > Data transfer andthe transfer partner from the list,other than Server synchronisationor PC synchronisation. Accordingto the settings, the selected data iscopied or synchronized. The otherdevice also must be activated forreceiving data.
