Uncontrolled completion or unexpecteddisruptions of the memory card operations may cause the memory cardand the information stored on it to become corrupted. A corrupted memorycard may have to be formatted before it can be used again. When a memorycard is formatted, all information on the card is permanently lost.■ TonesYou can change how the phone alerts when there is an incoming call. SelectMenu > Settings > Tones and one of the available tone settings. Select and changethe available tone options. You can find the same settings in the Profiles menu.See "Profiles," p. 52.If you select the highest ringing tone level, the ringing tone reaches its highestlevel after a few seconds.To set the phone to ring only for calls from phone numbers that belong to a selectedcaller group, select Alert for, scroll to the caller group you want or All calls, andselect Mark.■ Time and dateSelect Menu > Settings > Time and date and from the following options:Clock—Set the phone to show the clock in the standby mode, adjust the clock,and select the time zone and the time format.Date—Set the phone to show the date in the standby mode, set the date, andselect the date format and date separator.Auto-update of time (network service)—Set the phone to automatically updatethe time and date according to the current time zone.■ CallSelect Menu > Settings > Call and from the following options:Location info sharing is available for your device. Location info sharing is a networkservice. See "Network services," p. 5.If your wireless service provider supports this feature, then location info sharingallows the device to share position information over the network. For calls toemergency numbers, this position information may be used by the emergencyoperator to determine the position of the device. The functionality and accuracyof this feature are dependent on the network, satellite systems, and the agencyreceiving the information. This feature may not function in all areas or at all times.
