The displaylanguage, ringing tones, audio, and accessory settings (among others) canall be modified to suit your needs. Now, it is even possible to use a TTY orTDD device with your phone in all modes of operation (analogue or digital).• SET THE DISPLAY LANGUAGE1 At the Start screen, press Menu 4-4-1 (Settings > Phonesettings > Language).After a brief pause, Automatic, English, Français, Español, andPortuguês appear in the display.2 Scroll to the language of your choice and press Select.Note: The Language setting affects the time and date formats ofthe Clock, Alarm clock, and Calendar.• PROFILESProfiles define how your phone reacts when you receive a call or amessage, the sounds your keypad makes whenever you press a key, andmore. Ringing options, keypad tones, and other settings for each of the5 available profiles can be left at their default setting, or customized tosuit your needs. Select and customize the most suitable profile for yoursituation, such as when you are in a meeting or outdoors.
