M e s s a g i n g58Creating and sending picture messagesYour phone allows you to send and receivepicture messages. Picture messages are textmessages that contain small black-and-white graphics. There are several defaultpictures available in the Images→ Picturemessages folder in the Gallery.Note: This function can be used only if it issupported by your network operator or serviceprovider. Only phones that offer picture messagefeatures can receive and display picture messages.Options in the picture message editor: Send, Add recipient, Insert,Remove picture, Delete, Check contacts, Message details, Help, and Exit.To send a picture message:1. There are two possibilities, either:• Go to Menu→ Gallery→ Images→ Picture messages and select apicture to be sent. Select Options→ Send, or• Select Messaging→ New message→ Create:→ Text message andselect Options→ Insert→ Picture.2. Enter recipient information and add text.3. Select Options→ Send or press .Note: Each picture message is made up of several text messages.Therefore, sending one picture message may cost more than sending one textmessage.Multimedia messagesA multimedia message can contain a combination of text, images, videoand sound clips.Note: Multimedia messages can be used only if supported by yournetwork operator or service provider. Only devices that offer multimediamessages or e-mail features can receive and display multimedia messages.Settings needed for multimedia messagingYou may receive the settings as a smart message from your networkoperator or service provider.
