Faulty installation or service may bedangerous and may invalidate any warranty that may apply tothe device. Check regularly that all wireless device equipment inyour vehicle is mounted and operating properly. Do not store orcarry flammable liquids, gases, or explosive materials in the samecompartment as the device, its parts, or enhancements. Forvehicles equipped with an air bag, remember that air bags inflatewith great force. Do not place objects, including installed orportable wireless equipment in the area over the air bag or in theair bag deployment area. If in-vehicle wireless equipment isimproperly installed, and the air bag inflates, serious injury couldresult.Using your device while flying in aircraft is prohibited. Switch offyour device or set your device offline before boarding an aircraft.The use of wireless teledevices in an aircraft may be dangerous tothe operation of the aircraft, disrupt the wireless telephonenetwork, and may be illegal.Potentially explosive environmentsSwitch off your device when in any area with a potentiallyexplosive atmosphere, and obey all signs and instructions.Potentially explosive atmospheres include areas where you wouldnormally be advised to turn off your vehicle engine. Sparks insuch areas could cause an explosion or fire resulting in bodilyinjury or even death. Switch off the device at refueling pointssuch as near gas pumps at service stations. Observe restrictionson the use of radio equipment in fuel depots, storage, anddistribution areas; chemical plants; or where blasting operationsare in progress. Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere areoften, but not always, clearly marked. They include below deck onboats, chemical transfer or storage facilities, vehicles usingliquefied petroleum gas (such as propane or butane), and areaswhere the air contains chemicals or particles such as grain, dust,or metal powders.
