To deactivate Bluetooth, selectBluetooth > Off.PairingYou can set up a permanentpairing [association] between yourdevice and another device withBluetooth connectivity. Somedevices may require pairing beforedata transfer can take place.To pair with a device, you and theowner of the other device mustagree on a passcode of 1–16numeric characters. The first timeyou try to connect the devices, youmust each enter the samepasscode. Once the devices arepaired, you will not need to use thepasscode again, so there is no needto remember it.Paired devices areplaced in your paired device list.You can view the list even whenBluetooth is not active or whenthe devices in the list are notavailable for connection.To viewthe paired device list, do thefollowing:1. From the menus, selectSettings >Connectivity>Bluetooth > Paired devices.2. Scroll to the desired device, andselect Options and one of thefollowing:Assign short name—Give anickname [visible to you only]to the selected device.Auto-conn. withoutconfirmation—Select Yes if youwant the device to connect tothe selected deviceautomatically or No if youwant the device to ask for yourpermission first.
