You can find the name used for a device that is paired withyour car phone in the menu View paired devices.a Scroll with to the option Bluetooth name andpress to select it.My phone’s visibilityIf a Bluetooth connection has been established between yourcar phone and another compatible device that supportsBluetooth wireless technology, your car phone is hidden fromother devices. This means that it cannot be found by otherdevices with Bluetooth technology during a device search.To be able to set up a Bluetooth connection to a compatiblelaptop or to send a business card to the car phone, you can usethis option to make your car phone visible for one minute.During this interval, all active Bluetooth connections are ended.Afterwards, the connections are re-established by the carphone.y If you wish to use the Bluetooth function with yourcompatible mobile phone, make sure that it is activated inthe mobile. Remember to set the car phone’s visibility toVisibility or it will not be found during a search for activedevices with Bluetooth technology.y If you use Bluetooth technology functions regularly, e.g. tocopy contacts to the car phone memory from a compatiblemobile phone, you can set the option "Authorisationrequest" in the compatible mobile phone to "Off". Nowconnections between the devices via Bluetooth wirelesstechnology can conveniently be made automaticallywithout separate acceptance or authorisation.Activate visibilityThis setting is required if your car phone is to be visible for othercompatible devices with Bluetooth technology in order toestablish a Bluetooth connection.y When this setting is selected, it will remain active (i.e.visible on the display) for a period of time of one minute.User dataThis feature lets you store personalentries or phone settings under twodifferent user data profiles. For example,now phone book entries, voice tags andvoice commands, ringing tones or short messages for two userscan be saved and then accessed from the car phone using thesame SIM card. Just activate your personal user profile toaccess your data.
