See the followingsection.Security code (5 digits)The security code can be used toavoid unauthorised use of yourphone. The security code 12345 isusually supplied with the phone.Change the security code before youstart using your phone. Keep thenew code secret and in a safe place,which is separate from the phone.If you key in an incorrect securitycode five times in succession, thephone will not accept the correctcode for the next five minutes.PIN code (4 to 8 digits)The PIN (Personal IdentificationNumber) code protects your SIMcard against unauthorised use. ThePIN code is usually supplied with theSIM card. When the PIN coderequest is enabled (Menu 4-8-1), thecode is asked each time the phone isswitched on.If you key in an incorrect PIN codethree times in succession, key in thePUK code and press OK. Key in a newPIN code and press OK. Key in thenew code again and press OK.PIN2 code (4 to 8 digits)The PIN2 code, supplied with someSIM cards, is required to access somefunctions, such as charging unitcounters. These functions are onlyavailable if supported by your SIMcard.If you key in an incorrect PIN2 codethree times in succession, key in thePUK2 code and press OK. Key in anew PIN2 code and press OK. Key inthe new code again and press OK.PUK code (8 digits)The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key)code is required to change a blockedPIN code. The PUK code may besupplied with the SIM card. If not,contact your local service providerfor the code.If you key in an incorrect PUK codeten times in succession, the SIM cardcannot be used anymore. Contactyour service provider for a new card.You cannot change the PUK code. Ifyou lose the code, contact yourservice provider.
