Service inboxThe device is able to receive service messages sent byyour service provider (network service). Servicemessages are notifications (for example, newsheadlines) that may contain a text message or anaddress of a service.Service inbox accessSelect Show to access the Service inbox when youreceive a service message.If you select Exit, the message is moved to the Serviceinbox.To access the Service inbox later, select Menu >Web > Service inbox. To access the Service inboxwhile browsing, select Options > Other options >Service inbox. Scroll to the message you want, andselect Retrieve to activate the browser and downloadthe complete message.To display detailed information on the servicenotification or delete the message, select Options >Details or Delete.Service inbox settingsSelect Menu > Web > Settings > Service inboxsettings and from the following options:• Service messages — to set whether you want toreceive service messages• Message filter — Select On to set the device toreceive service messages only from content authorsapproved by the service provider. To view the list ofthe approved content authors, select Trustedchannels.• Automatic connection — Select On to set thedevice to automatically activate the browser fromthe standby mode, when the device has received aservice message. If you select Off, the deviceactivates the browser only after you selectRetrieve when the device has received a servicemessage.Cache memoryA cache is a memory location that is used to store datatemporarily. If you have tried to access or have accessedconfidential information requiring passwords, emptythe cache after each use. The information or servicesyou have accessed are stored in the cache.To clear the cache while browsing, select Options >Other options > Clear the cache.In the standby mode, select Menu > Web > Clear thecache.Browser securitySecurity features may be required for some services,such as online banking or shopping.
