• User name — Enter your user name if requiredby the service provider. User names are oftencase-sensitive and provided by your serviceprovider.• Prompt password — Select Yes to enter yourpassword each time you log into a server or Noto save the password in your device memory andautomate the login.• Password — Enter your password if required bythe service provider. The password is often case-sensitive provided by the service provider.• Authentication — Select Secure to always sendyour password encrypted or Normal to send yourpassword encrypted when possible.• Homepage — Enter the Web address of the pageyou want to display as a home page when youuse this access point.4. After defining the settings, select Options >Advanced settings to define the advanced settingsor Back to save the settings and exit.For information on the advanced settings, see theextended user guide on the Web.normally connect to your device with the data cable,press the joystick.Select from the following:• Ask on connection — Select whether you want to beasked for the device type every time you connect thedata cable to your device.• PC Suite — Connect the PC Suite to your device withthe data cable, and use your device as a modem.• Data transfer — Access and transfer data such asmusic or image files from your computer using thedata cable connection. To use the Data transfermode, make sure that you have not selected USB asa connection type in the Manage connectionssettings in Nokia PC Suite. Insert a memory card toyour device, connect the device to a compatiblecomputer with the USB data cable, and select Datatransfer when the device asks which mode is used.In this mode, your device acts as a mass storagedevice and you can see it as a removable hard drivein your computer. The device will switch into theOffline profile if this is selected.
