Charge the battery1. Connect a compatible charger to a wall outlet.2. Connect the charger to the device. If the battery iscompletely discharged, it may take a while beforethe charging indicator starts scrolling.3. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect thecharger from the device, then from the wall outlet.Your battery has been precharged at the factory, butthe charging levels may vary. To reach the fulloperation time, charge the battery until it has beenfully charged according to the battery level indicator.Tip: You can use older style Nokia chargers withyour device by attaching the CA-44 adapter tothe old charger. The adapter is available as aseparate enhancement.Insert the memorycardUse a memory card to save the memory on your device.You can also back up information from your device tothe memory card.The sales package of your device may not include amemory card. Memory cards are available as separateaccessories.1. Open the cover of the memory card slot.2. Insert the memory card in the slot with the contactarea first. Ensure the contact area is facing theconnectors on the device.3. Push the card in until it locks into place.4. Close the cover.Eject the memory cardImportant: Do not remove the memory card inthe middle of an operation when the card is beingaccessed. Removing the card in the middle of anoperation may damage the memory card as well as thedevice, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.1. Press the power key briefly, and select Removememory card.2. Open the cover of the memory card slot.3. Press the end of the memory card to release it fromthe memory card slot.4.
