GB 6Installing the satellite dishü Your satellite dish should be installed with a cable for youto connect to the Mediamaster. If you do not have this cableyou will need to buy one from a dealer (tell the dealer youneed a coaxial cable and F-connectors).ü Connect the cable from the satellite dish to the socketmarked ”LNB IN” on the back of the Mediamaster.If you need to fit the F-connectors onto the cablePrepare each end of the cable as shown in the diagram.You will need to fold back the outer braid (as shown).ü Slide the F-connector onto the cable, and then turn itclockwise until it grips the braid.ü Ensure that 3 mm of the core is protruding from the end ofthe connector.There are many different types of TV/VCR and otherequipment that you can connect to the Mediamaster. In thismanual you will see some of the most common ways toconnect your equipment. If you use RF cables you willhave to tune your TV and VCR to the Mediamaster outputchannel.
