Thus, you may need toconfigure as many mailboxes as you haveinternet access networks, each mailbox havinga different SMTP host name or IP address.SMTP servers:—Select this option and Configure if youwant to configure connection specific servers. Select E-mail account setup 4/4 and tap Advanced todefine optional e-mail settings, or tap Finish tocomplete the mailbox setup.It is very common that you need to modify theadvanced settings. For more information, see thedevice help.Retrieve and read e-mail messagesE-mail messages sent to you are not automaticallyreceived by your device, but by your remote mailbox on thee-mail server. To read your e-mail messages, you must firstconnect to the mailbox and retrieve the messages.To retrieve e-mail messages from a remote mailbox, selectE-mail > New Message > Send & receive, or tap in thetoolbar. This option retrieves messages from all accountsset for the device.If you want to receive messages only from a specificaccount, in the application main view, hold the stylus onthe for a second, and select the desired account.If you have e-mail messages in the Outbox folder, thesemessages are sent simultaneously.To retrieve the contents of a selected message, tap themessage header. You can set the device to only downloadmessage headers. If the mailbox type is IMAP4, you canalso download a message without attachments. To open amessage, tap the header of the message twice.To disconnect from a mailbox, tap the internet connectionicon on the status indicator area, and selectDisconnect. The internet connection ends.To open an unread message from the task navigator, tap, and select the desired message.Important: Exercise caution when openingmessages. E-mail messages may containmalicious software or otherwise be harmful toyour device or PC.
