Settings117Change the trust settingsBefore changing any certificate settings, you must makesure that you really trust the owner of the certificate andthat the certificate really belongs to the listed owner.Scroll to an authority certificate, and select Options >Trust settings. Depending on the certificate, a list of theapplications that can use the selected certificate is shown.For example:• Symbian installation: Yes—The certificate is able tocertify the origin of a new Symbian operating systemapplication.• Internet: Yes—The certificate is able to certify servers.• App. installation: Yes—The certificate is able to certifythe origin of a new Java application.Select Options > Edit trust setting to change the value.Security moduleTo view or edit a security module (if available) in Securitymodule, scroll to it, and press the scroll key. To viewdetailed information about a security module, scroll to it,and select Options > Security details.Factory settingsTo reset some of the settings to their original values, selectFactory settings. To do this, you need the lock code. See‘Phone and SIM card’, p. 114. After resetting, the devicemay take a longer time to power on. Documents and filesare unaffected.Navi wheelSelect On to perform certain actions (for example, browsethrough lists in some applications) by sliding your fingeraround the rim of the scroll key.PositioningPositioning methods—Select the positioning methodsused to detect the location of your device: Bluetooth GPSto use a compatible external GPS receiver with Bluetoothconnectivity, and Network based to use information fromthe cellular network (network service). The locationinformation can be used by compatible applications inyour device.Positioning server—Define an access point and apositioning server for secure positioning. The positioningserver may be preset by your service provider, and you maynot be able to edit the settings.PhoneTo edit the settings related to making and receiving calls,press , and select Tools > Settings > Phone > Call, Calldivert, Call barring, or Network.
