For information on SyncMLcompatibility, contact the supplier of the calendar oraddress book application you want to synchronise yourphone data with.You may receive syncronisation settings in a special textmessage. See ‘Data and settings’, p. 64.Create a new synchronisation profileOptions in the Sync main view are Synchronise,New sync profile, Edit sync profile, Delete, View log,Set as default, Help, and Exit.1 If no profiles have been defined, your device asks if youwant to create a new profile. Select Yes.To create a new profile in addition to existing ones,select Options > New sync profile. Choose whetheryou want to use the default setting values or copy thevalues from an existing profile to be used as the basisfor the new profile.2 Define the following:Sync profile name—Write a descriptive name for theprofile.Data bearer—Select the connection type: Web, orBluetooth.Access point (shown only if Data bearer is set toWeb)—Select an access point to use for the dataconnection.Host address—The IP address of the host server.Contact your service provider or system administratorfor the correct values.Port (shown only if Data bearer is set to Web)—Contact your service provider or system administratorfor the correct values.User name—Your user ID for the synchronisationserver. Contact your service provider or systemadministrator for your correct ID.Password—Write your password. Contact your serviceprovider or system administrator for the correct value.Allow sync requests—Select Yes if you want to allowthe server to start a synchronisation.
