Service providers mayoffer information about local topics, such as weather ortraffic conditions, based upon the location of your device.When you receive a position request, a message isdisplayed showing the service that is making the request.Select Accept to allow your position information to besent or Reject to deny the request.MapsPress , and select Maps. With Maps, you can see yourcurrent location on the map, browse maps for differentcities and countries, search for addresses and differentpoints of interest, plan routes from one location toanother, and save locations as landmarks and send them tocompatible devices.When you use Maps for the first time, you may need todefine an internet access point for downloading mapinformation for your current location. To change thedefault access point later, select Options > Settings >Network > Default access point.Almost all digital cartography is inaccurate andincomplete to some extent. Never rely solely on thecartography that you download for use in this device.Downloading maps may involve the transmission of largeamounts of data through your service provider's network.Contact your service provider for information about datatransmission charges.Tip! You can also download maps by using a WLANconnection. or through the internet using NokiaMapLoader.
