You can also purchase licenses for trafficinformation and navigation services, if available foryour country or region.When you use Maps for the first time, you may need toselect an internet access point for downloading maps.When you have an active GPS connection and browsethe map in the display, a new map is automaticallydownloaded if you scroll to an area not covered by themaps that have already been downloaded. You can alsouse the Nokia Map Loader PC software to downloadmaps. To install Nokia Map Loader to a compatible PC,visit www.nokia.com/maps (in English).Tip: To avoid data transfer costs, you can also useMaps without an internet connection, andbrowse the maps that are saved in your deviceor memory card, if available in your device.Note: Downloading content such as maps,satellite images, voice files, guides or trafficinformation may involve transmission of largeamounts of data (network service).Almost all digital cartography is inaccurate andincomplete to some extent. Never rely solely on thecartography that you download for use in this device.Network positioningYou can use the mobile network to find your currentlocation. This is faster but less accurate than with GPS,and you cannot use the location as a starting point fornavigation.Select Menu > Maps.Use the mobile network for positioning — Selectthe network-based positioning method from thedevice settings.When you start the Maps application and your GPSconnection is ready, GPS replaces mobile network asthe positioning method.92 Nokia Maps
