LUBRICATIONLubricate the loader after 16 hours of operational.Apply grease until it slightly runs over from the part being greased.In order to make the lubricatin work of the grease nipples in the upper end of the verticalboom easier worktops has been installed above the turning cylinders. Before going up putthe boom directly backwards and attach it at the frame of the forestry trailer or put it on theground. Extensions booms can be greased by spreading grease on the booms slidesurfaces. Use only high quality grease, example NESTE OH GREASE.OIL LEVER CONTROL OF THE TURNING DEVICEIn the loader turning device is oil for the lubrication of the lower bearing and gear rack. Oillevel must check at times. Oil level is controlled by turning full/check screw open, oil levelmust be at the same level as the full/check screw hole. Increase oil if needed, oil quality is80 W90. Upper bearing must be gresed by grease.ADJUSTING THE SUPPORT BEARING OF THE GEAR RACKChecking the tightness of the support bearings of the gear rack and the vertical boom'stooth rim is essential to prevent breaking of the teeth. Check the adjustment after first 10hours of operation and after it at intervals of about 100 hours. The recommended clearanceis 0.05 - 0.1 mm, which corresponds to a 10o - 20o turn of the tightening screw. First loosenthe lock nut and then tighten the tightening screw (torque 10 kPm). After this open thescrew about 10o - 20o. Finally screw the lock nut back and tighten it. It is useful to check attimes that the nut and screw have not turned loose by themselves.POWERLESS LOADER MOTIONSIf the lifting power of the loader does not correspond to the values specified for it, check thefollowing points:• Measure the tractor take-out pressure: it should be over 175 bar.• Measure the pressure of the hydraulic return line; max. 5 bar, preferably under 2 bar. Ifthe pressure exceeds the maximum, arrange a free return line in the tractor. However,observe the tractor manufacturer's instructions in connecting the return line.• If the tractor take-out pressure is over 175 bar and the return line pressure is under themaximum, check the loader's pressure limiting valves. Adjusting the loader's valves mustbe entrusted to an authorized repair shop because the manufacturer's guarantee will nolonger be valid if the valves are adjusted improperly. |
