294.5.2 Hydraulic PlumbingWARNING!The hydraulic system creates very high pressure that can injure. Beforedisconnecting any hydraulic lines ensure that all pressure has been bledfrom the system. When changing the boom hydraulic hoses leave thebooms in the TRANSPORT POSITION.NOTE: From this point in the installation the booms will be inoperativeuntil the electronics are fully installed.1. After the NORAC valves are mounted on the sprayer, the hydraulic hoses andfittings can be installed (plumbed). The plumbing for the hydraulic circuit isshown schematically in Figure 3.2. The “raise” lines from theside of the cylinders, whichraise the booms, must beconnected to the “B” ports ofthe NORAC valve block.Disconnect the existing 3/4"“raise” lines on the boomcylinder end. Install ItemsH10, H11, H12 and H13onto the disconnected hoseend (Figure 26).3. Install Items H6 and H1onto the cylinder and runthe provided hoses ItemsH7 and H8 (Figure 26). Thelonger hose H8 must beinstalled on the side of thesprayer opposite the valveblock.4. Tee the free end of H13 in tothe open port on H1.Figure 26 – Boom Cylinder “Raise” LineFittings5. Route H7 and H8 to the NORAC valve block. Connect to the “B” ports. Followthe existing 3/4" lines to the valve. (Do NOT disconnect the 3/4" lines from theRogator valve block.)6.
