Cooling Unit Removal and ReplacementProcedures-Figures 18-22Removal1. Turn the LP gas supply off at the main tank.2. Pull the refrigerator forward from its permanentlocation.3. Disconnect the refrigerator’s AC power cord fromthe wall receptacle.4. Disconnect the LP supply line from the refrigera-tor.CAUTION: Use two wrenches when manipu-lating the gas inlet fitting. Failure to use twowrenches can over stress the piping andcreate gas leaks.5. Open both the freezer and refrigerator doors.6. Remove and retain the eight screws from the rearwall of the freezer.7. Remove and retain the four screws from the cool-ing fins.8. Remove the two clips and detach the capillary tubefrom the cooling fins.9. Close both the freezer and refrigerator doors andproceed to the rear of the refrigerator.10.
