This is typically neededif an external analog sensor (e.g. OBS) operates in a specific voltage range and the raw batterypower does not fall within this range. The default output voltage level is RAW (battery or externaladapter). This can be changed to +5V or to +12V by changing the position of a 0-W resistor.
