Known Issues24 Release NotesBroadcast Server• (511) Broadcast Server does not correctly reflect the automaticallycreated distribution lists after a synchronization with the ApplicationGateway. Only one of the distribution lists will include subscribersand all other distribution lists will be empty. Some distribution listswill be duplicated.• (761) If a message is pushed to an IP phone while another pushedmessage is playing, the second message overwrites the first message.• (763) A normal priority broadcast overrides a page and interrupts theplaying of a Visual Voicemail message. Only emergency priority alertsshould take precedence over those events.• (827) Broadcasts and pages are not logged, therefore it is not possibleto determine from the log when a push was made and which devicesdid not receive it.• (1185) During installation of Broadcast Server on the Europeanversions of Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4 or Windows 2003Server, the following error appears:“Error 1931. The Windows Installer Service cannot update the systemfile e:\winnt\system32\msxml3r.dll because the file is protected byWindows. You may need to update your operating system for thisprogram to work correctly. “That error does not impact Broadcast Server operation. Press OK andthe installation will continue.• (1667) Broadcast Server does not support special characters in thename of uploaded audio or graphics files.Workaround: Do not use special characters in the filenames of audioand graphics files.• (2143) Each phone appears twice in the Broadcast Server subscriberlist. This is a display issue only.• (2237) Broadcast Server displays an error message if you attempt tosearch for a user name or subscriber name that contains the singlequote (') character.Workaround: Remove the ' character from the search string.• (2303) Alerts sometimes are not removed from the alerts list.• (2461) Broadcast Server does not use space characters entered at thebeginning or end of a user name or password entered anywhere in theapplication.
