About the Nortel IP Phone 1140E12Press the Hold key to put an active call onhold. Tap the flashing line (DN) soft key toreturn to the caller on hold.Use the Expand to PC key to access externalserver applications.Press the Headset key to answer a call usingthe headset or to switch a call from thehandset or handsfree to the headset.Note: The Headset LED indicator,located on the Headset key, lights toindicate that the headset is in use.Press the Headset key twice to open theBluetooth Setup menu.Note: Contact your system administratorto find out if this option is available foryour use. For information about installinga Bluetooth wireless technology headset,refer to the IP Phone 1140E User Guide.Use the Goodbye key to terminate an activecall.When a message is waiting, the orangeVisual Alerter/Message Waitingindicator flashes.
