41IP Phone 1200 SIP User GuideManually entering number When unregistered - not possible (only Uri dialing)When registered - Enter number > Dial softkeyNote: When there is Dial Plan configured on your phone, the call is placed assoon as the phone recognizes a valid phone number.Without picking up the Handset (ON HOOK) and without pressingHandsfree / Headset buttons and without pressing any Line Key, do one ofthe following-• Enter the number (when the phone is idle) and select Dial Softkey orpress Handsfree / Headset or any registered Line Key or Hash Key (#) orsimply pick up the handset receiver. The number that was entered getsdialed.• Press Redial key to get a list of 15 most recently dialed numbers. UseUp/Down scroll keys to select one of the numbers and then press anyregistered Line Key or Dial softkey or press the Handsfree / Headsetbutton or simply pick up the handset receiver to dial the selected number.• Press Book softkey or Directory button to display the numbers stored inthe phonebook. Use Up/Down scroll keys to select one of the numbersand then press any registered Line Key or Dial softkey or press theHandsfree / Headset button or simply pick up the handset receiver to dialthe selected number.• Press Services button followed by Logs softkey. Go to any of the lists In /Out / Missed. Use Up/Down navigation keys to select one of thenumbers and then select Dial Softkey or press any registered Line Key orthe Handsfree / Headset button or simply pick up the handset receiver todial the selected number.• When the phone is not registered then you can dial a SIP Uri. To do this, pressthe Uri softkey and enter a SIP Uri. Press the Dial softkey to dial this Uri.NOTE: If you do not select a line before dialing a number, then by default yourphone chooses the primary line to place the call.In summary, without picking the handset or pressing the Handsfree or Headsetkey, the procedure is as follows:
