Video calls43To predial, dial the number before you lift the handset.1. On the dialpad, enter the number to call.2. Press Video start.The IP Phone 1535 places the call.Receiving a video callOn receiving an incoming call, the IP Phone 1535 issues a ring tone anddisplays the message “Incoming video call from <Username/Number,DISPLAY INFO, or contact name from Phonebook>”.After you receive this message, you can either• accept the call as a video call• accept the call as an audio-only callTo accept the call as a video call, press Video start.To answer the call as audio only, perform the following steps.1. Lift the handset; or, for a handsfree call, press Send.The audio conversation begins. You do not receive remote video untilthe calling party presses Video start.2. When you are ready to start sending video, press Videostart.Attention: If the 1535 IP Phone cannot immediately determine thecall type it displays the call type as video by default. This can occurwhen you select a melody as your ring back tone.
