11If the handset is turned off whenplaced in charger, only the LEDindicates the charging. Whenhandset is turned off, the LEDflashes at a low frequency whilecharging and lights constantlywhen the charging is finished.There will be no reaction forincoming calls.If the handset is turned on whencharging, the display shows thecharging status. The display goesback to normal mode when fullycharged. It will not vibrate.Auto-answer is inactive. Thehandset reacts normally forincoming calls.It is necessary to recharge the batterywhen the display shows BATTERYLOW, or if the handset cannot beturned on. When the battery is fullydischarged, up to 10 minutes maypass before charging begins (displaylights up). When the charger beginsthe charging, status is shown in thedisplay if the handset is turned on.Checking battery capacityIn the BATTERY MENU it is possibleto see the remaining battery capacity.For reading the correct capacity, thehandset has to be removed from thecharger for at least one hour.1 Press MENU ( ) and use the <or > keys to reach the BATTERYMENU.2 Press 3 to enter the BATTERYMENU, and see the current statusof the battery capacity.
