24Answering callsDepending on the system hardware/software configuration, Call Displayinformation (CLID) for incoming exter-nal calls will appear on the display.Your system administrator mustenable the CLID feature for yourhandset in system programming.To answer a call:• Press to answer a call whenyour handset rings.• If you are using headset, press anykey on the handset to answer thecall.To stop the handset ringing withoutanswering the call:• Press and the ring signal ismuted. The display shows:»RINGER MUTED«• Alternatively, press one of thevolume control buttons to mute theringing signal.Hold a call1 While on a call, press R ( ).2 To retrieve the held call, press R( ) again.
