This folder contains the application files Nortel Networks Reporting for Call Centeruses. It also contains the Nortel Networks Reporting for Call Center configuration and statisticaldatabase.Note: Before Nortel Networks Reporting for Call Center will operate correctly, you mustenable the Call Center Reporting Software Keycode. For Software Keycodeinformation, refer to the Software Keycode Installation Guide.TCP/IP ProtocolThe Call Center platform and Nortel Networks Reporting for Call Center use the industrystandard TCP/IP protocol to link the Call Center and the Nortel Networks Reporting for CallCenter Web Host PC. Therefore, the Windows Network component is required for the NortelNetworks Reporting for Call Center Web Host PC.The Nortel Networks Reporting for Call Center installation process does not install the WindowsNetwork component. For instructions on installing the Windows Networking component, refer toyour network or Windows documentation.Checking whether the Windows Networking Component is InstalledTo verify that the Windows Network component is installed on the PC that will operate as a WebHost PC, perform the following steps:Note: If your company has a network administrator, check with your administrator beforechanging any network configuration parameters.1. Start the Windows system on the PC on which you will install the Nortel NetworksReporting for Call Center application.2. On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings, and then click Control Panel. The ControlPanel window appears.If you are using the Windows 2000 operating system, double-click Networking and Dial-upConnections. The Networking and Dial-up Connections window appears.If you are using the Windows XP operating system, click Start > Connect to, and then clickShow All Connections. The Networking Connections window appears.3. Double-click the Network icon. The Network window appears with the Configuration tabdisplayed.
