Whenever this guide describes a procedure that requires specialcodes, ask your telephone system administrator to provide these to you.To access a feature, press a Feature Key or enter a Flexible Feature Code (FFC).The system administrator supplies you with Flexible Feature Codes or FeatureAccess Codes.Note: In order to use a feature described in this section, your system software mustsupport the feature and the feature must be assigned to your telephone. Checkwith your system administrator for more details.Make a callThis section describes features you can use when making a call. There are severalways to make a call from your M3905 Call Center Digital Telephone.Note: If your M3905 ACD telephone is equipped with a handset, you must lift thehandset and press a DN or ACD DN to get a response in the handset.To make a call:1. Press the Individual DN Key (non-ACDKey).2. Dial the number.Note: Note: If you are not in Not Ready or Make Busy mode while you are on acall on your Individual DN line, the call is put on hold enabling you to answer theACD In-Calls line. However, if you are on an ACD call and a call comes in onyour Individual DN line, you cannot put your ACD call on hold to answer yourIndividual DN line call.Auto DialAuto Dial lets you dedicate a feature key to a specific telephone number. Whenthe Auto Dial Key is pressed, the number is dialed automatically.To use Auto Dial:1. Select an Individual DN Line.2.
