Connect one plug of the telephone cable supplied with the MeridianDigital Telephone External IP Adapter unit to the jack marked DIGITALPHONE on the rear panel of the Meridian Digital Telephone External IPAdapter unit.b. Plug the other end of this cable to the jack on the digital telephone.Powering up the Meridian Digital Telephone External IP Adapter unitAs soon as you connect the Meridian Digital Telephone External IP Adapter unitto the power source, the unit begins to power up.During power-up, the Meridian Digital Telephone External IP Adapter unitperforms a self-test. The power LED flashes three times to verify all criticalfunctionality, including:! RAM memory test! flash checksum validationIf the Meridian Digital Telephone External IP Adapter unit completes asuccessful self-test, the telephone display shows one of the following messages:!
