8 Regular telephoneTo charge a call using Conference orTransfer:1 Flash the switchhook. You hearthree beeps followed by dial tone.Your call is put on Hold.2 Dial SPRE 5 or CDRC FFC. Thedial tone stops.3 Dial the charge account number.You hear dial tone.4 Dial the phone number.5 If your hear ringback, hang up totransfer the call.or— Wait for the call to be answered.Flash the switchhook to establish athree-party conference or hang upto transfer the call.or— If you hear a busy signal, flash theswitchhook again to return to theoriginal caller.Note: If you have a rotary dialtelephone, you must use a chargeaccount number with the maximumnumber of digits specified by yourorganization. If you have a pushbuttontelephone, you can use a numberwhich has fewer than the maximumnumber of digits by pressing the # keyat the end of the number.
