The number of bars increases(up to a maximum of six) as the signal strength increases.Note: This icon is displayed only when data services areavailable.When no bars are shown, no connection is possible for oneof the following reasons: You are outside of the Nationwide Sprint Networkservice area. The signal strength is too weak. A network problem is preventing the Sprint MobileBroadband USB modem from obtaining service.The Transmit/Receive icon lets you know that a Sprint dataconnection is active.The Optimization image compression software is active.The CDMA 1xEVDO icon appears when CDMA 1xEVDOservice is available and active.The Roaming indicator lets you know that you haveroamed from a Sprint Network to a roaming partner'ssystem.
