11 GBIn case of malfunctionBefore thinking the collar is broken, read this guide and make sure the problem is not causedby a weak battery or incorrect settings. Check if the collar is properly adjusted and positionedaround your dog’s neck. Make sure the contact points are properly tightened on the unit.Re-initialise the system by removing the battery from its housing and then, with a metallic tool(e.g. screwdriver, scissors), touch each of the two battery contacts for 2 seconds approximately.Insert the battery again: one beep is emitted, indicating that the collar is correctly initialised.If the problem persists, contact your distributor.Depending on the extent of the malfunction, you may have to return your product for checkand repair.For all repairs, please supply the following:- the complete product- the proof of purchase (invoice or sales receipt)If you omit one of these items, the After Sales Service will have to invoice you for any repair costsincurred.Cautions for use- The system detects only barking from the dog wearing the collar. Nevertheless, although thedevice is extremely reliable, it can be triggered unintentionally. It is therefore advisable not toleave the dog unattended when wearing the collar.- To avoid unintentional triggering, the dog should not wear any medal, metallic collar, or anyother kind of collar together with the bark limiter collar.- Keep the CANICALM out of reach of children. It is not a toy for you or your children.- Remove the battery from the collar if you are not using it for 3 months or more. Never leavea discharged battery in the unit: leakage could damage your CANICALM.MaintenanceAvoid cleaning the collar with volatile liquids such as solvent or benzene. Use simply a soft cloth,slightly moistened with water or a neutral detergent.
