41To stop the machine, press the main switch andset it to OFF.The machine must be set to “O” power (switchoff and disconnector open) before any cleaningoperations are performed.Do not use solvents, chlorine-based pro-ducts or abrasives.Cleaning the work area: remove the worktop,lifting it up from the front and sliding it out.Remove the water collection dish underneathand clean everything with hot water and clean-sers.Cleaning the bottom: To clean all the chro-mium-plated areas, use a soft, damp cloth. Then rinse abun-dantly with running water.8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCEWARNINGENGLISHIt is not possible to clean the machine usingwater jets or standing it in water.WARNINGDuring maintenance/repairs, the parts usedmust be able to guarantee compliance with thesafety and hygiene requirements envisaged forthe device.Original replacement parts can offer this gua-rantee. After repairs to/replacement of a partthat comes into contact with foods or water, it isnecessary to carry out a washing procedure orto follow the steps indicated by the manufactu-rer.
