33EMC TablesGuidance and manufacturer’s declaration – electromagnetic immunityThe NuStep® T5 and T5XR Recumbent Cross Trainer equipment is intended for use in theelectromagnetic environment specified below. The customer or user of the NuStep® T5 or T5XRRecumbent Cross Trainer should make sure that it is used in such an environment.Immunity test IEC 60601 testlevelCompliancelevelElectromagnetic environment - guidanceConducted RFIEC 61000-4-6Radiated RFIEC 61000-4-33 Vrms150 kHz to 80MHz3 V / m80 MHz to 2,5GHz3 Vrms3 V / mPortable and mobile RF communicationsequipment should be used no closer toany part of the NuStep® T5 RecumbentCross Trainer, including cables, thanthe recommended separation distancecalculated from the equation applicable tothe frequency of the transmitter.Recommended separation distanced = 1,2 Pd = 1,2 P 80 MHz to 800 MHzd = 2,3 P 800 MHz to 2.5 GHzWhere P is the maximum output powerrating of the transmitter in watts (W)according to the transmitter manufacturerand d is the recommend separationdistance in metres (m).Field strengths from fixed RF transmitters,as determined by an electromagneticsite survey, A should be less than thecompliance level in each frequencyrange . BInterference may occur in the vicinityof equipment marked with thefollowing symbol:NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected byabsorption and reflection from structures, objections and people.A Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cellular/cordless)telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio, AM and FM radio broadcast and TV broadcastcannot be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To assess the electromagnetic environment dueto fixed RF transmitters, and electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the measuredfield strength in the location in which the NuStep® T5 Recumbent Cross Trainer is used exceeds theapplicable RF compliance level above, the NuStep® T5 Recumbent Cross Trainer should be observedto verify normal operation. If abnormal operation performance is observed, additional measures maybe necessary, such as reorienting or relocating the NuStep® T5 Recumbent Cross Trainer.B Over the frequency range 150 kHz to 80 MHz, field strengths should be less than [V1] V/m.
