IR Pass-ThruThe mini jack labeled “IR pass-thru" mini connection isused for connecting forwarded IR signals to an audiocomponent connected to the auxiliary audio input.Using the Aux. InputThe T2 is equipped with an auxiliary audio input labeled“AUX IN.” This will accept an audio signal from an externalcomponent. This is most useful as an additional localsource, or an additional source in a multi-zone audiosystem. The auxiliary input is a stereo RCA connection andrequires a standard RCA cable for the connection, fig. 4.This must be enabled through the advanced menu, whichis accessed through the “Select Knob” on the face of theT2 (see Menu Controls, AUX Input pg. 14) or in the T2Configurator software (see Using the T2 ConfiguratorSoftware pg. 22). An additional advanced feature is theability to set the gain of the auxiliary signal to match theoutput signal level of the T2.Once the auxiliary input is enabled, it is selected from theremote using the “AUX” button, fig. 5, or by pressing the“Source” button for either Tuner A or Tuner B on the faceof the T2 and stepping through FM, AM, and WX (WeatherBand) to Aux. On the XM models the source button simplytoggles between XM reception and the auxiliary input, fig. 6.L LOUTAUX INR RTUNER B TUNER AOUTAUDIOOUTPUTAUDIOOUTPUTANTENNA INPUTINUSE ONLY NuVoNV-T2PASPOWERED ANTENNA SYSTEMTRIGGERON=+12VTRIGGERON=+12VAUX INAuxiliaryAudio Source AudioOutFig . 4Fig . 5Fig . 61 2 34 5 67 8 90 ENTAMFMWX AUXSCANENTERPWR A/BHOLDALL OFFPRESEEKTUNECATEGORYT2 TunerREMOTE CONTROLDIRTUNERModel NV-T2DFDual FM/AM/WX TunerREMOTESENSORPUSH TOENTERSELECT1627384950<<DISPLAY MEMORY MENU PRE/DIR SOURCE ON-OFFCATEGORY PRESET/DIRECTTuner ASTANDBYFM STEREO•AM•WEATHERAux InputPage 10
