The menu functions specific to XM receptionare outlined here.Signal Status: This function is important to XM signalreception. When the antenna is installed and plugged into theT2 antenna input, follow the following submenus. These aredesigned to insure that the antenna location is sufficient forgood signal reception.Antenna: This display will either indicate OK or None.OK means the tuner is detecting the presence of anantenna.Signal Strength: There are four displays for thisselection. They are none, weak, marg. , and good. Youwant to adjust the antenna location so the displayindicates good reception.Sat. 1: This indicates the percentage of error from thefirst satellite. As long as the signal strength is good,this should be between 90 and 100%.Sat 2: This function is identical to Sat 1 and indicatesthe percentage of error for the second satellite.Terrestrial: Many areas have terrestrial signalrepeaters to boost the satellite signal. This is usefulwhere a satellite signal might be impeded. This menufunction shows the % of error in the terrestrial signal.If the satellite signal is good, the terrestrial signal isnot necessary.Info: Version: This tells you what firmware version iscurrently loaded on the T2.Test Status: This is for factory diagnostic use only.Advanced Settings: Diagnostics is the only XM function notincluded in the AM/FM choices. This is an XM customer servicefunction. Typically you do not have to do anything with thisselection. If you have a question about XM operation the XMcustomer service representative may ask for the informationon the diagnostic display.XM Display ButtonThe front panel control is identical for AM/FM and XM with theexception of the Display button. Each push of the Displaybutton toggles through four display choices.
