The LCD TV will besilenced and the symbol “Mute” will appearon the screen. The muting feature can bereleased by pressing the MUTE buttonagain or one of the VOL (VOLUME) + or –buttons.9. Install two “AAA” batteries (supplied).3. Replace the battery compartment cover.Use two “AAA” size batteries. The batteries may lastapproximately one year depending on how much theremote control is used. For best performance, it isrecommended that batteries should be replaced on ayearly basis, or when the remote operation becomeserratic.
