Adventurer Pro EN-193.7 Balance SettingsRefer to section 3.4.2 Navigation for information on how to enter and navigate the menus.3.7.1 CalibrationAdventurer Pro balances can be calibrated in two ways: Span calibration or Linearity calibration.Span calibration resets the balance's weighing range using two weight values: zero and aweight value between 25% and 100% of the balance's capacity. Linearity calibration minimizesdeviation between actual and displayed weights within the balance's weighing range. Threeweight values are used: zero, a weight value at or near the midpoint of the balance's weighingrange and a weight at or near the balance's specified capacity.Calibration MassesBefore beginning calibration, make sure masses are available.
