EN-12 EC Series6. CALIBRATIONFor best results, calibrate the scale at regular intervals. Temperature changes, geographic gravity variations, altitude changes and abuse are few reasons why ascale may need recalibration. When the scale is ideally positioned for operation, enter calibration and proceed asfollows:Long-press Zero to initiate calibra-tion (do not release key-press until“CAL” is displayed). The required calibration weight isdisplayed (ex. 3000g for a 3kgmodel). At this time, a differentcalibration weight value can beentered via the numeric keypad.Place the corresponding calibrationweight on the pan. The displayflashes until the actual weight is reg-istered and the calibration processends (the scale momentarily beepsbefore exiting to normal weighingmode).NOTE: Press Zero at any time to abort during the calibration process.3000.0.Weight g0..3000.03000.03000.03000.03000.0.Piece Weight g/pc3000.0.CALCount pcsCALRequired calibrationvalue3000.0. 3000.0.
