Three Image Processing modes are available: Area Designation, Image Creation, andSharpness.n AREA DESIGNATION (See p. 5-3.)This mode allows you to designate rectangular areas using the Number keys for images in theoriginal, and process these areas as follows:· [FRAMING]Makes copies of only the inside of a designated area on the original.· [BLANKING]Makes copies of only the outside of a designated area on the original.· [NEGA/POSI]Makes copies of a designated area on the original with the original image inverted.n IMAGE CREATION (See p. 5-8.)This mode allows you to perform the following types of image processing.· [NEGA/POSI]Makes copies of only the inside of a designated area on the original with the original imageinverted.· [IMAGE REPEAT]Makes copies of the original image repeated in the vertical direction. You can also make copies ofan area-designated image from the original repeated in the vertical direction.· [MIRROR IMAGE]Makes copies of the original image flipped around the horizontal or vertical axes.· [SLANTED IMAGE]Makes copies of the original slanted at a designated angle.n SHARPNESS (See p. 5-17.)Makes copies of original images with the contrast reproduced more sharply.
